SAVI Davison made it clear that playing for Alas Pilipinas isn’t her priority, at least for now.
The 26-year-old Fil-Canadian winger and reigning PVL best outside hitter was among the high-profile names in the national team’s 33-player wishlist.
But it appears that she has other plans and priorities, for now.

“Maybe when December comes, but right now, it's just not my priority. We just came off of a really long conference plus the AVC,” said Davison.
“I’m going to get as far from volleyball as I can for the next month and then maybe dabble in it. But right now, it's not on my list for at least this moment. So just keeping it up, just floating, just not volleyball.”
With the offseason fast approaching after the week-long Asian tilt, the PLDT ace is set to make what she considers to be a much-awaited homecoming in Canada.
There, she will play a series of tuneup matches with the Canadian national team to keep herself in shape ahead of her return to the country later this year.

It will also be her way of making up for lost time as she was unable to go back home to Canada during the hectic stretch of the recently-concluded 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
“I actually go home for a little bit. When I'm at home, I’ll actually play in semi-pro tournaments with the girls from Team Canada. I'll be continuously competing throughout the summer — hopefully safely,” Davison said.
“It's not so much of a break for me. It's just maintenance. Hopefully, I can get better back home as well with the coaches back home and just bring some lessons that I've learned back here.
“Just rest as well and just time with some family because I didn't get to go home for Christmas.”
