ADAMSON University coach Airess Padda apologized after being caught on camera during dropping the F-word during their match against Far Eastern University in the UAAP Season 79 women’s volleyball tournament.

Usually calm despite the Lady Falcons’ woes, Padda’s patience apparently ran out as the Lady Falcons squandered a four-point lead and allowed the Lady Tamaraws to score eight straight points.

Padda called for a time out with the Lady Falcons trailing by three.

“Am I expecting too much out of you?” she asked Joy Dacoron, who answered “no” in almost a whisper.

“Well then, do your f*ck!ñ’ job! I’m sick of it!” she exclaimed.

Adamson scored a total of 40 points, from 14 kill points, one block, three service aces and 22 from FEU’s errors.

After the match, Padda talked to reporters and explained why she said those words.

“I do and I actually apologized to Joy for cussing out her, I didn't mean to. But I'm very frustrated, disappointed,” she said, pointing out that the coaching staff believe so much in the team but the players think otherwise.

“The coaches still believe that we can win, but it's just frustrating because sometimes, they don't believe that they can win.”

“I think most of the time, they believe that they are not gonna win. They accept the loss before it even happens,” she added.

Padda, tapped as Adamson coach in June of last year, is frustrated with the Lady Falcons’ inability to execute at game time what they are able to do at practice.

“We got girls running to the bathroom, throwing up. It's tough. But they're still able to come out and play at a high level,” she said.

“They just haven't figured out how to transfer what we do in practice and how their minds are trained in practice, to the game, that’s the most frustrating part,” she added.

Adamson will face streaking University of Sto. Tomas on Saturday at The Arena in San Juan.

“It doesn't happen overnight. Rome wasn't built in a day. So it's gonna take time,” she said.
