AIRASIA hopes to get back on track and end its two-game losing skid, while PLDT Home TVolution also looks to recover from a loss in the Philippine Super Liga All Filipino Conference on Sunday at the Cuneta Astrodome.

The Flying Spikers have skidded to a 2-2 win-loss card after starting the tournament with two straight wins and now hope to stop the bleeding when they take on the Power Attackers, who enter the match with a similar 2-2 record.

The match starts at 3 p.m.

AirAsia coach Ramil de Jesus says the main problem has been failure to get a full complement at practice. A handful of AirAsia Lady Spikers have regular jobs and are only part-time volleyball players who could not afford to join training although they show up at matches.

Stephanie Mercado, though, has managed to lead the Flying Spikers in scoring despite being mentioned as those who miss practice along with Maureen Penetrante-Ouano, Melissa Gohing and Abi Marano.

They will again be counted on to deliver good numbers as they look to move up to third place behind the unbeaten Petron Blaze Spikers (3-0) and RC Cola-Air Force (4-1).

"Syempre unang-una imo-motivate mo sila at sana makabangon sila," said De Jesus

The Power Attackers, meanwhile, look to score their third win after suffering a straight-sets loss to RC Cola two weeks ago.

Charo Soriano struggled with 11 points but that was the best for PLDT in that match, and bow team captain Sue Roces and the other Power Attackers hope to atone for the anemic performance.

Cignal (0-3) and Cagayan Valley (1-4) clash at 5 p.m. in a battle of the women’s division tailenders, while Cignal (2-1) and Instituto Estetico Manila (1-2) collide at 7 p.m. in the men’s division.
