COLEGIO San Agustin-Makati sent three teams to three division finals of the 17th Women's Volleyball League following big victories over the weekend at the Xavier School gym.
The Agustinians missed just the 17-Under Developmental Division where Escuela de Sophia scored the biggest comeback of the day to upset St. Scholastica's College, 2-25, 25-12, 25-17, and earn the final berth against School of St. Anthony, a 25-19, 25-18 semifinals winner over St. Peter the Apostle School.
CSA beat St. Paul College-Makati, 25-12, 25-11, to earn a finals berth in the 13-Under Developmental Division against Jubilee Christian Academy, which denied St. Joseph School of Fairview, 26-24, 25-12, in their own semifinal encounter.
The 13-under Competitive Division saw another CSA team into the final when it ousted yet another team from St. Scholastica's College, 25-1, 25-5. It will meet Dr. Rafael Palma Elementary School, which pulled the rug from under San Beda-Alabang, 25-19, 25-23, for the other championship berth.
The 17-under Competitive Division pit CSA, which defeated a third team from St. Scholastica's College, 25-10, 25-17, against Hope Christian High School, which smothered King's Montessori School, 25-14, 25-9, in the battle for the crown.
All finals matches will be held on March 3 at the San Beda courts.
