Bhebs Pineda finished with 21 points for the Lady Falcons, while Mayeth Zapanta chipped in 17, Faye Guevarra added 16, Amanda Villanueva contributed 13 and Marleen Cortel made 12.
From a tied 7-all match, Pineda sparked a 4-0 spurt capped by Zapanta's three consecutive points that made it 11-7 in the fifth set.
Chester Ong stopped the bleeding, but the Lady Falcons answered with another four straight points to seal the win.
AdU gave away 37 points to UP through errors but still came up with the win to even its win-loss record to 1-1 after bowing to La Salle in the season-opener.
Angeli Araneta produced 18 markers for the Lady Maroons, while Katherine Bersola added 17 and Ong had 11 as UP dropped to 0-2.
