IT was a heartbreaking run for Adamson after missing the Final Four of the UAAP Season 80 women’s volleyball tournament but the Lady Falcons exit the tournament with their heads held high.

The Lady Falcons ended the season with a straight-set win over University of Sto. Tomas

“Makapasok sa Final Four kasi ‘yun talaga ang pangarap namin na mga seniors pero at least itong last game namin nakita namin ’yung mga bata na talagang gusto rin nilang manalo,” said skipper Jema Galanza.

Galanza and her fellow graduating middle blocker Mylene Paat, setter Fenela Emnas and libero Jellie Tempiatura couldn’t thank their head coach Air Padda enough.

For Galanza, Padda was there especially during the lowest point of her life when she suffered a major ankle injury during an off-season tournament last year.

“Sobra ‘yung trust niya sa akin,” she said.

“Lalo na nung nainjured ako never niya sakin pinaramdam na hindi ako belong sa team.”

For Paat, Emnas and Tempiatura, the charismatic Padda was not just volleyball coach but life mentor as well.

“Sobrang minold niya ako as a better person and better player inside and outside the court talaga,” said Paat.

“Nasa limit ka na gusto ka pa niya ipush kasi alam niyang may ilalabas ka pa,” added Emnas.

“Hindi lang din siya sa volleyball lalo na sa pag in real life,” continued Tempiatura.
