ADAMSON got two more wins on Friday morning to grab the solo lead in the UAAP beach volleyball at the SM Sands by the Bay.
Mylene Paat and Jessica Gallanza trounced the University of the East tandem of Judith Abil Angelica Dacaymat , 21-8, 21-7, and later bested La Salle duo Cyd Demecillo and Kim Fajardo, 21-14, 21-18.
The Lady Falcons, who booked an opening day victory over defending champion University of Santo Tomas, now lead the field with a 3-0 card.
Meanwhile, Alyssa Valdez and Bea Tan swept Far Eastern University's Bernadeth Pons and Kyla Atienza, 24-22, 21-17 for their secon win.
The Lady Eagles started on a wrong foot, committing one too many errors in a close opening set. But they regained their poise in the second frame to deny the Lady Tamaraws.
In the men's division, Adamson downed University of the Philippines, 21-15, 16-21, 15-7, and FEU survived La Salle, 9-21, 21-16, 15-13.
