TREAT Huey and Max Mirnyi advanced to the Wimbledon men's doubles semifinals, defeating wildcard entry Jonathan Marray of England and Adil Shamasdin of Canada, 6-4, 7-6, 6-3, on Wednesday at the All England Club.
Huey and Mirnyi will take on top-seeded Frenchmen Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut on Friday.
The Filipino/Belarussian pair later made it to the quarterfinals with a 6-3, 6-2, 7-6 win over Oliver Marach of Austria and Fabrice Martin of France.
Huey and Mirnyi began the tournament with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Pablo Carreno Busta and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain, before beating Marcelo Demoliner of Brazil and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3.
