A WATCH party will be held at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City on Monday for Alex Eala's Round-of-16 match against Jasmine Paolini in the Wimbledon Championships.
Presented by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and the Philippine Tennis Association (PTA), the watch party will be free to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

The PhilSports Arena gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
The FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers game between Gilas Pilipinas and Australia in Perth will also be shown beginning 6:30 p.m. but will be interrupted as needed once the live broadcast of Eala va Paolini begins.
The Eala vs Paolini match is pencilled for an 8:30 p.m. (Philippine time) start.
Watch parties were common at the height of the career of eight-division world champion, but this is the first time such events are being held for Eala since her rise up the world tennis rankings.

Here are other important reminders from the PSC:
* For everyone’s comfort and safety, please refrain from wearing slippers (flip-flops), sandos (sleeveless undershirts), and similar attire.
* Bringing food and drinks into the arena will be permitted for this special event. A limited selection of snacks will also be available for purchase.
* Parking is limited within the Philsports Arena Complex. Guests are encouraged to use parking facilities at nearby malls and establishments.
