AISAM Qureshi and Aqeel Khan defeated Treat Huey and Ruben Gonzales, 7-5, 6-3, 6-2, on Saturday as Pakistan stayed alive in its Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group II second round tie against the Philippines at the Philippine Columbian Association courts in Manila.
The doubles win of Qureshi, ranked 27 in the world ATP rankings, and Khan made it 1-2 after the Philippines won the opening singles matches on Friday in straight sets.
Gonzales is scheduled to face Khan on Sunday, while Tierro is listed to play Samir Ifthikar in the final match although teams can make last minute-changes.
