ALEX Eala sure backed up her words, rebounding with a dominant 6-3, 6-1 victory over world no. 32 Diane Parry of France to start her campaign in the WTA500 Ningbo Open on Monday.
The Filipina rising star was in peak form in her return as she snapped a three-match losing streak in WTA events to march on to the round of 16.

Eala broke Parry's break in the seventh game of the first set as she found her stride by winning the nine of the next 10, displaying an improved form winning 68-percent of her first serves.
More importantly, the world no. 19 cleaned up her act as she only had nine unforced errors to Parry's 21, a huge contrast from her shock loss to Shi Han in the first round of the Wuhan Open last week.
Eala now awaits the winner of the round of 32 match between world no. 13 Diana Shnaider and Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan on Tuesday.
