Defending French Open champion and world No. 2 Rafael Nadal of Spain eased past sixth seed compatriot David Ferrer 6-2, 6-2, 6-1.
The 25-year-old Djokovic is unbeaten in 27 consecutive Grand Slam matches, while the 26-year-old Nadal has a 51-1 win-loss record at Roland Garros and is looking to claim his seventh French Open title.
Djokovic won the 2011 Wimbledon, 2011 US Open and 2012 Australian Open titles, with Nadal taking runner-up honors.
