WORLD No. 4, Jessica Pegula now stands in the way of Alex Eala in her Miami Open 1000 dream run.
Pegula, 31, defeated Great Britain’s Emma Raducanu in their quarterfinal, 6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-2, to move to the semifinals of the Florida tournament where she will meet the giant-killing wildcard from the Philippines.

Eala, 19, reached her first-ever WTA Tour semifinals by taking down world No. 2 Iga Swiatek, 6-2, 7-5, earlier in the day.
The veteran Pegula already has seven WTA titles under her belt and reached a high of No. 3 in the WTA rankings and world No. 1 in doubles. She is also a finalist in the 2024 US Open.

Pegula has won four of their 10 career matchups with Swiatek.
Eala and Pegula's semifinal match is scheduled on Friday, 8:30 AM (Manila Time).
