In the latest update in the tournament’s website, Eala appeared in the players tab of the prestigious event.
Ranked No. 68 in the world, Eala also drew well wishes from the Rafa Nadal Academy, which is sending a slate of players to the season’s final slam.

Currently, Eala is still in Mallorca, slowly easing back into action in the courts of the Rafa Nadal Academy, where she has trained for most of her career.
Her first-round opponent will be revealed when the official draw is released on August 21.
It will be Eala’s third grand slam appearance of the year after competing in Roland Garros and Wimbledon. She bowed out in the opening rounds of both tournaments.
Beyond Flushing Meadows, Eala is already slated to compete at the São Paulo Open, a WTA 250 event in Brazil that kicks off September 8, just a day after the U.S. Open wraps up.
She enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed, trailing only hometown star Beatriz Haddad Maia and American Hailey Baptiste.
