ALEX Eala, currently ranked No. 77 in the world, is on track for her second grand slam main draw appearance at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships in London.
The 20-year-old Filipina has been officially included in the entry list for the world's most prestigious grass court tournament, as published on the event’s website.
Waiting game for Eala
The official draw for Wimbledon is scheduled to be released on June 27, three days before the start of the year's third grand slam tournament.
According to the WTA, a player included in the entry list is either seeded into the main draw, granted a wild card, or made in through qualifying.

Just last May 25, Eala made her professional grand slam debut at the French Open, though her campaign ended early with a first-round loss to Emiliana Arango.
Transitioning to grass shortly after, Eala has so far competed in three tournaments with mixed results: the Birmingham Classic, where she exited in the first round; the Ilkley Open, where she reached the quarterfinals; and the Nottingham Open, where she bowed out in the round of 32.
Unconfirmed reports quoting Eala's dad Mike said the Filipina ace is set to compete at qualifying for the Eastbourne Open, a WTA 250 tournament.
However, her name has yet to be posted on the entry list.
