The 15-year-old Filipina found her groove after falling 0-4 in the first set.
She next faces Germany's Mara Guth, who defeated Sarah Iliev of France, 6-4, 6-3.
Eala will also see action in the girls' doubles with Elvina Kalieva of the US.
