AJ LIM's dream run at Roland Garros was dashed after losing to Germany’s Marvin Moeller, 6-2, 6-1, ending his campaign in the French Open boys singles.
A day after scoring a huge upset over third-seed Ulises Blanch, the 17-year-old Pinoy netter bowed out of contention in the third round with the lopsided loss to Moeller.
Lim overcame Constantin Bittoun Kouzmine of France, 6-1, 3-6, 6-2, in the first round to start his campaign before the confidence-boosting win over the American Blanch, 6-3, 6-1, in the second round.
However, Lim came a win short of a quarterfinal appearance.
