ARIES Capispisan was relieved the UAAP taekwondo tournament is over, saying it has been a pressure packed season with University of Sto. Tomas expected to retain the title.
The Tigers did, claiming their third straight crown on Tuesday at the Blue Eagle Gym.
"Pantay-pantay na po yung teams sa UAAP. Nakaka-pressure kasi kami yung team-to-beat, kami yung pinag-aaralan ng ibang teams," said Capispisan.
"So kailangan every year mag-push pa kami at i-develop pa namin skills."
It was UST jins’ and 14th overall, and Capispisan says the team needs to keep improving to maintain the distance from pursuers.
The 20-year-old Engineering student added that even him, the competition's MVP, needs to get stronger as well.
"Sobrang dami pa po kailangan i-improve, yung MVP bonus lang talaga. Ine-aim na championship talaga," he said.
