THE Philippines bagged four gold medals in the recent 2015 Asian Junior Wushu Championship in Xilinhot, Inner Mongolia, China.
Ken Alieson Omengan led the way for the Philippine junior wushu team, capturing the boys’ nanquan and nandao titles to match his two-gold medal output in the 2013 edition held in Manila.
The Philippines swept the taijijian events, with Agatha Chrystenzen Wong and Spencer Bahod claiming the boys and girls gold medals, respectively.
Aleca Breana Dumseng, meanwhile, got the country's lone bronze medal by finishing third in the girls’ qiangshu event.
Twenty-four countries competed in the event ruled by China, which won eight gold medals.
