JADE Zafra annexed the Philippines’ 21st gold medal in the 2013 Southeast Asian Games in women’s taekwondo at the Zayar Thiri Stadim in Nay Pyi Taw.

UAAP Most Valuable Player Christian Dela Cruz bagged the silver medal in the men’s -80 kg, bowing to Myanmar’s Linn Win Htun, 6-9, in finals.

Cruz defeated Vietnam’s Nguyen Van Son, 11-8, in quarterfinals and got past Laos’ Sawatvilay Phimmasone, 8-0, in the last four.
