ADAMSON is one win away from a sweep of the eliminations and an outright spot in the finals after beating La Salle, 4-2, on Monday at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium in the UAAP softball tournament.

Analie Benjamen led the way with solid pitching to lead the Lady Falcons to an 11-0 record, extending their winning run to 73 games.

Adamson coach Ana Santiago urged the other players to support Benjamen offensively in the final stretch.

“We need to work hard to get every win. Mahaba pa ang tournament. What Benjamen needs is offense from her teammates,” said Santiago.

Adamson looks to sweep the Season 78 eliminations when it takes on University of Santo Tomas on Wednesday.

National University beat University of the East, 12-2, to finish the elimination round with a 8-4 win-loss slate.

UST downed University of the Philippines, 6-1, to improve its record to 7-4.

The Tigresses need to win against Adamson to force a playoff for No. 2.
