ILOILO and International Little League Association of Manila (ILLAM) ended up with two titles on Sunday in the Little League Philippine Series in Marikina City.
The Iloilo little league softball team beat Muntinlupa, 20-0, while its junior league squad bested Makati, 12-1, to capture the crown in their respective divisions.
ILLAM, meanwhile, dominated the baseball competition by beating Muntinlupa in the junior league (14-7) and senior league (13-3) baseball title, respectively.
Both Iloilo and ILLAM teams will represent the Philippines in the Asia Pacific regionals to be played sometime in the middle of the year.
Meanwhile, Manila South blanked Pasig, 19-0, to come away with the big league softball crown, as GK Smokey Mountain defeated Sta. Cruz, 13-3, for the senior league softball crown.
