THE PHILIPPINE Blu Boys remained winless after two outings when they bowed to Canada, 10-0, after four innings in the second day of the 2013 Men’s World Softball Championships in Auckland, New Zealand.
The Blu Boys were walloped by New Zealand after starter George Marquez gave up seven runs in the fourth inning which led to a route.
The Blu Boys’ loss came after they were defeated by Colombia, 6-4.
After leading by a run in the top of the fourth, the Philippines allowed three runs to score in the bottom of the inning leading to the defeat.
The Philippines will next face Argentina in Day Three.
