KUALA LUMPUR - Three athletes have become the poster boys for the Philippine campaign in the 29th Southeast Asian Games.

Basketball prodigy Kobe Paras, runner Trenten Anthony Beram and boxer John Marvin have become the most popular Filipino athletes among Filipino fans here and online not only because of their performance in the SEA Games but also their looks.

Paras has been besieged with requests for autographs and selfies wherever he went that Malaysian volunteers provide the good-looking son of PBA legend Benjie Paras with a police escort in the short walk from the team bus to the MABA Stadium

Beram was so popular among the ladies in the Philippine secretariat that on Friday night, he had to spend quite an amount of time posing for pictures with them in a visit to the PH headquarters.

Marvin, a Fil-Brit boxer of the Philippines, has also been getting his share of fans on social media.

The good thing is, the trio has shown that they're more than just good looks.

Beram won two gold medals in the 200m and 400m dash while Marvin captured the gold in the light heavyweight division in boxing by dispatching his Malaysian foe in 21 seconds in the final.

Paras, meanwhile, was a member of the Gilas cadets side that retained the gold medal in basketball.
