KUALA LUMPUR - Tickets for the men’s basketball finals of the 29th Southeast Asian Games are being sold even if it is free of charge.

A person in search of tickets informed that those being sold by scalpers for the gold medal match between Gilas Pilipinas and Indonesia range from 300 to as high as 1,000 ringgit or around P3,600 to  P12,000.

Tickets for the basketball games are free, according to information reaching, and were being distributed to fans outside the MABA Stadium prior to the matches.

The ticket booth at the playing venue also posts signage saying tickets for the semifinals and the finals have already ran out.

Fans are even advised to stay in their seats if they choose to watch other games as exiting the venue will mean the seats will be taken by other spectators.

Hundreds of Gilas Pilipinas fans were left outside the stadium during its preliminary match against host Malaysia due to a full-packed house.
