SINGAPORE — It will be an all-Filipina showdown for the SEA Games women’s 9-ball title after Rubilen Amit and Chezka Centeno hurdled their respective opponents on Monday at the OCBC Arena Hall 4.

Amit defeated Aung Aye Mi of Myanmar, 7-2, while Centeno beat Chitchomnart Siraphat of Thailand, 7-5, assuring the Philippines of another gold in the billiards competition.

The finals won't take place until Tuesday as the sure gold won't reflect yet in the Philippines' medal tally by the end of Day 4 of the biennial meet.
Nonetheless, the Filipino billiards team is already assured of its second gold in this year's edition of the Games.
Carlo Biado and Warren Kiamco provided the country's first gold in the pool after winning the men’s 9-ball doubles on Sunday.
