SINGAPORE — Rachel Anne Daquis was once again interviewed by a Thailand television network as people there can’t get enough of the Filipina volleyball star.

A Thai TV reporter from Voice TV 21 interviewed Daquis moments after the Philippines beat Malaysia in straight sets on Thursday at the OCBC Arena Hall 2.

Daquis was asked by the reporter whether she had already visited Thailand.

“I was there last year because we had a competition. I went there,” Daquis answered.

“I love Thailand,” said Daquis, who had head trainer Tai Bundit at her side as interpreter.

When asked about Daquis, the Thai reporter said Daquis is very popular in Thailand.

“Because she’s pretty,” said the TV reporter, who also had his picture taken with the lovely volleyball player.
