KUALA LUMPUR - The Philippine campaign in the 29th Southeast Asian Games ended with a whimper as Kathryn Magno finished fourth in the women's 1000m final in speed skating on Wednesday at the Empire City Ice Skating Rink.

Magno, the last Filipino athlete who competed in this year's SEA Games, missed the medal as she placed fourth among four competitors in the final with a time of one minute, 51.893 seconds.

Anja Chong of Malaysia topped the final with a time of 1:48.835, while Cheyenne Goh placed second with a clocking of 1:48.907. Ashley Sook Hui of Malaysia took third at 1:49.321.

Magno finished second in Heat 1 with a time of 2:01.153 behind Chong, who checked in at 1:59.512.
