Hidilyn Diaz arrives in Kuala Lumpur to cheer on Filipino athletes in SEA Games
No women's weightlifting events were included in the SEA Games calendar but Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz is in Kuala LUmpur to support her fellow Filipino athletes. 

KUALA LUMPUR — Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz is joining the Filipino gallery supporting the nation's athletes in the 29th Southeast Asian Games.

Diaz arrived on Sunday and will be at the weightlifting competition venue to support Nestor Colonia on Monday at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.

Only men’s weightlifting events are being held the Kuala Lumpur Sea Games.

Diaz, who bagged silver in the 2016 Rio Olympics, said she also plans to cheer on the remaining Filipino athletes who will be competing in the final few days of the SEA Games.
