Gilas Pilipinas steps up buildup for Seaba championship with start of daily practices

GILAS Pilipinas stepped up its buildup for the Southeast Asia Basketball Association (Seaba) Championship as it started its daily practices on Monday night.

After holding once-a-week training sessions for the first three weeks, the Nationals got back on the grind and continued to perfect coach Chot Reyes' dribble-drive offense.

Twenty-one players suited up, while Jayson Castro, Terrence Romeo, and Arnold Van Opstal were just watching from the sidenlines.

Castro just dropped by before excusing himself and leaving, while Romeo and Van Opstal stayed on but were just in street clothes.

Raymond Almazan was present, but came in over half an hour late.

The Nationals' daily practices continue until Wednesday before they go on a break on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
