St. Luke's promotes disease awareness with 'Run for Wellness' event

Nov 17, 2013

ST. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) combines the exercise of running with fun-filled activities when it holds its Run for Wellness on December 7, 6 a.m. onwards, at the Bonifacio Global City grounds.

Runners in the 3K, 5K and 7K distance categories will be treated to obstacles such as the Water Gun, Color Me Blue and Air Blower stations that are expected to add more fun to what would already be a healthy endeavor that promotes disease prevention and overall well-being.

The Run for Wellness will also be held during the hospital’s celebration of Dr. Joven Cunanang Week which pays tribute to its senior vice president for medical practice and chief medical officer who has dedicated 51 years of service to the medical profession and has significantly contributed to SLMC’s success.

Registration fee is P750 for all three categories with participants also getting a St. Luke’s Run for Welness shirt bib and other freebies from participating sponsors. Winners will get executive health privileges.
