ROY Laudit and Maricar Camacho topped the 10,000-strong participants who joined this year's second The Great UP Run on Sunday inside UP Diliman.
Laudit set the pace for the men's 16K in 54 minutes and 53 seconds, beating Joel Orogan (56:00) and Mark Anthony Oximar (58:35).
Camacho, meanwhile, ruled the women's 16K in one hour, 10 minutes, and 13 seconds (1:10:13), with Maria Corinne Elizabeth Caymo (1:27:25) finishing second and Angelie Rose Lumba (1:32:10) taking third.
The run, held in partnership with the UP Office for Athletics and Sports Development and the UP Office of the Vice President for Community Affairs, brought together Iskos of different generations all in the spirit of the UP Fight.

RUNRIO, the country's leading race organizer fronted by State U alumnus and athletics team coach Rio de la Cruz, also gave back by donating P1.1 million to the OASD to be used in helping various varsity teams and student-athletes.
"The Great UP Run is one of the events that I just couldn't miss," said de la Cruz of the donation presented to UP President Angelo Jimenez and UP OASD Resource Mobilization and Alumni Relations head Ma. Imelda De Dios.
"It is one of the first races that our company organized back in 2007 and it's a race that has endured and also got bigger through the years."
