EXPECT a bigger turnout for RUNRIO Pride Run 2026 co-presented by SM Supermalls and Mogu Mogu.
Building on the momentum of the past two years, the Philippines' biggest and most colorful celebration of inclusivity and self-expression is yet again set for three cities, with the Manila leg at SM Mall of Asia Complex slated for June 21.
“As the very first major Pride running event in the Philippines, the RUNRIO Pride Run, at this point, is already an institution,” said RUNRIO president Rio de la Cruz.
“It is an avenue for runners—regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, or skill level—to gather in one place for a morning of infectious fun, electrifying energy, and most importantly, community.”

The nationwide series will once again stage additional legs in Davao at SM Lanang Davao on June 7, Cebu at SM Seaside City Cebu on June 14.
For the first time since being staged in 2024, the Pride Run will also have a 16K category that runners can join alongside 10K, 5K, 3K, and the crowd-favorite 1K Dog Run categories.
All registered runners will receive race kits that include an official race singlet and race bib with timing chip, while participants in the 1K Dog Run category will also receive a special dog bandana. Finishers will take home a special heart-shaped medal and loot bags as part of the race-day experience.
Additionally, a non-binary division will also recognize the fastest runners from the LGBTQIA+ community in this race which champions diversity and equality, all while serving as safe and welcoming space for allies and runners from all walks of life.
Pride, not prejudice
RUNRIO also promised to donate P500,000 to advocacy partner PANTAY for this race, more than doubling last year's contribution, to help support the organization’s initiatives and programs for the LGBTQIA+ sector.
Since its inaugural staging in 2024, the RUNRIO Pride Run has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the local running calendar with the first edition drawing more than 5,000 participants in Manila, while the 2025 edition expanded nationwide and attracted over 13,000 runners across Manila, Cebu, and Davao.
“We are all humans—equal and undismissable,” De la Cruz added. “And we should all spend our days treating each other the same—equal and undismissable.”
The RUNRIO Pride Run 2026 has Healthy and Pure as hydration partner and Pocari Sweat as electrolyte partner.
