SAMSUNG and RUNRIO are teaming up once again for the Earth Day Run 2025 which will take place on April 27.
Simultaneous races happening across Manila, Cebu, and Davao will bring together fitness enthusiasts, environmental advocates, and the tech community to celebrate sustainability and wellness.
'Run with Purpose'
“Our theme this year is ‘Run with Purpose.’ It’s a simple yet telling call to action for everyone and a reminder that every step we take is a step to a more sustainable future,” said RUNRIO general manager Andrew Neri.
About 16,000 runners have already signed up for the race, with the Manila leg happening at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, the Cebu leg at City di Mare, and the Davao leg at Azuela Cove.
More runners are expected to join, with a target of 17,000 set for all the 5K, 10K, and 21K categories of the three races, offering participants a chance to turn their love for the planet into impactful action.
“We all share the purpose of fostering a sustainable lifestyle and promoting environmentally conscious choices,” said Nic Rodriguez, Galaxy Ecosystem product marketing manager.
Earth Day Run 2025 is also in partnership with Tzu Chi Philippines, a global humanitarian organization championing environmental protection through recycling and upcycling, underscoring the importance of reducing carbon footprints and conserving resources, as its advocacy partner.
