ULTRAMARATHON running returns to the country's 'Happy Place' when the Catanduanes Abaca Ultra 50Km is staged on May 24 in Virac.
The race highlights this year's celebration of the Abaca Festival and gives participants the unique opportunity to explore the natural beauty, culture, and scenic landscapes of the island.
The first ultramarathon in Catanduanes since 2017 will have runners experiencing the place's picturesque beaches, lush forests, and stunning waterfalls, all while celebrating its rich heritage and breathtaking environment.
"This event not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also showcases the beauty of Catanduanes," says Reymund Reginaldo, head of event organizer CatRuns.
