MAY the Force be with the runners, as Lucasfilm, The Walt Disney Company, and premier race organizer RUNRIO team up for the Star Wars Night Run Philippines this Saturday.
The nighttime spectacle will transform the grounds of official venue partner SM Mall of Asia Complex into an immersive running universe where fans and fitness enthusiasts alike can celebrate one of the world’s most iconic franchises while staying active.
“This partnership brings together storytelling, community, and wellness in one unforgettable experience,” said RUNRIO president and CEO Rio de la Cruz. “It’s not just a run, it’s a celebration of fandom and fitness rolled into one.”

As much as 15,000 runners are expected to take part, with 10K, 5K, and 3K categories available in this nighttime journey in a galaxy not so far away.
Assembly time starts at 10:30 p.m., with the gunstart for 10K at 11:30 p.m., 5K at 12:30 a.m., and 3K at 1:30 a.m.
Up for grabs is the unique finishers medal inspired by the Death Star.
Exclusive merch are also available, among them the lightsabers of Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Mace Windu, as well as a special Mandalorian shirt.
The event promises a unique atmosphere, as some participants are expected to don costumes inspired by the beloved Star Wars saga.
