OLYMPIC silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz is set to receive a house and lot from a Philippine Sports Commission partner aside from the P5 million incentive from the government, according to PSC chairman William “Butch” Ramirez.

The PSC and construction company 8990 Deca Homes have agreed in principle about incentive packages for medallists before the 13 Filipino athletes left for Rio De Janeiro, according to Ramirez.

Diaz, therefore, is expected to receive the keys to the new house upon her return to Manila.

“Before the athletes departed, nag-usap na kami na we will sign an agreement na bibigyan ang mga medalist ng house and lot and special gifts,” said Ramirez.

“Magpipirmahan kami ngayong Biyernes at pagdating ni Hidilyn, magbibigay sila ng susi,” said Ramirez.

Diaz is already assured of an incentive of P5 million through Republic Act 10699.
