Malcolm Brogdon named Rookie of the Year, the lowest pick to earn the honor

MALCOLM Brogdon of the Milwaukee Bucks has been named Rookie of the Year at the NBA Awards Show on Monday in New York (Tuesday, Manila time).

A former ACC Player of the Year with the Virginia Cavaliers, Brogdon was picked in the second round, 36th overall in the rookie draft.

Brogdon averaged 10.2 points and 4.2 assists last season for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Joel Embiid had the strongest stats, averaging 20.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.45 blocks, but was limited to just 31 games with the Philadelphis 76ers because of injuries.
