After declining a lucrative contract extension by Phoenix, where is Topex Robinson headed?
La Salle could be a possible destination, but everything remains up in the air for Robinson, who turned down an offer of allegedly around P400,000 a month.
"He still expresses that he has not received any official offers elsewhere. But he did say he is waiting for options and is willing to take the risk for it," a team executive, who requested anonymity, said.
“But he may already have something up his sleeve,” the source added.

Where there were no balloons at Big Dome
The absence of balloons in the rafters of the Smart-Araneta Coliseum during Game Six of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals sparked speculation that the league expected a Game Seven at the Philippine Arena all along.
But sorry to burst your, well, balloon.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial reminded everyone that the league has veered away from using balloons to celebrate a champion and instead turned to confetti machines due to their convenience.
“Matagal ng wala yun (balloons). Confetti na tayo, panahon pa ni Com Chito (Narvasa),” Marcial said.
Unlike balloons which have to be placed in the rafters a day before a championship clincher, confetti machines can be brought out to the court just moments after the game.
Dindin Santiago-Manabat finds new home
Dindin Santiago-Manabat has found a new home in Akari starting in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference on February 4.
After parting ways with Chery Tiggo, which she helped win its first PVL title in 2021, Santiago-Manabat tries to bring the winning tradition to the Power Chargers.
Aside from Manabat, Akari has also signed Camille Victoria, an opposite spiker who decided to forego her final playing year of UAAP eligibility with the UST Golden Tigresses to play professionally.
