A SEMIFINALS clash with an old tormentor seems likely for the SIBOL MLBB Women squad in its redemption road in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Philippines breezed to an automatic semifinals spot in the Women’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament by sweeping its group, standing tall over Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand in the preliminaries and now awaits the winner of Indonesia and Laos in the medal rounds.
Indonesia, of course, was the team that denied the Philippines a double-gold in MLBB in the 32nd SEA Games after breaking the hearts of SIBOL Women back in 2023 in a thrilling best-of-five finale.
If Indonesia beats Laos, the two regional powerhouses are set for an early collision course, set on Tuesday, 3 PM Philippine Time.
