PATTAYA, Thailand – Jiu-jitsu produced two gold medals for the Philippines on Thursday in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.
Kimberly Anne Custodio copped the women’s 48kg Ne-waza after beating Sugan Nutchaya of Thailand in the final.

Custodio is a world champion, with her title coming just last November also in Bangkok.
Dean Roxas also bagged the gold in the men’s 85kg Ne-waza, defeating Ea Aacus Hou Yu of Singapore.

Aside from being a ju-jitsu practitioner, Roxas was also in the news in the past, being the boyfriend of singer Geneva Cruz.
