THIRDY Ravena, Mike Phillips, and Kymani Ladi have committed to play for Gilas Pilipinas in the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
Head coach Norman Black bared the additions on Saturday during the Power and Play program.
“We have a pretty decent team. It’s not a team to sneeze at,” said Black.
Of the three, Ravena and Phillips already have experience playing in the SEA Games.
Ravena, who plays for Dubai Basketball in the Euroleague, was part of the Gilas team that finished with a silver medal against Indonesia in the biennial meet in Hanoi.
Phillips, meanwhile, joined the Philippine ‘redeem team’ that reclaimed the SEA Games gold in Cambodia in 2023.
Phillips is the skipper of La Salle, while Ladi is on his one-and-done season for Ateneo in the UAAP.

The three join Justin Brownlee, Ray Parks, Matthew Wright, Remy Martin, Ange Kouame, Dave Ildefonso, Jason Brickman, and Veejay Pre in the SEA Games lineup.
Black is leaving one spot open, as he is still looking for a big man to bolster the roster.
Black said this initial lineup is based on the premise that passport is the eligibility requirement in this year’s SEA Games to be held in Bangkok. Changes may occur, however, if the ‘passport-only’ rule is updated before the competition starts on December 9.
