NEW CLARK CITY – Several events, including a handful of outdoor sports, in the 30th Southeast Asian Games will proceed as scheduled despite inclement weather brought about by typhoon Tisoy.
As per official statement by director of sports Karen Caballero, matches in cycling, indoor hockey, underwater hockey, table tennis, sepak takraw, chess, beach volleyball, beach handball and arnis will continue with their competitions on Tuesday.

Also proceeding are action in lawnbowls, baseball and softball.
Those which cancelled their schedule meanwhile, include polo, skateboarding and petanque, while moving their games to later dates are muay, pencak silat, and modern pentathlon.

Still pending on whether to go on with their competitions or make revisions are wakeboarding, golf, and aquatics, which is set to start on Dec. 4.
PAGASA has raised Signal no. 2 in Northern Luzon where most of the Games are being held.
