THE Philippine poomsae team continued its fine performance in the 30th Southeast Asian Games as the men won the team event on Saturday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Rodolfo Reyes Jr. teamed up with brothers Dustin Jacob and Raphael Enrico Mella to deliver the country’s fourth straight gold in the men’s team event.

The Filipino Jins garnered a final score of 8.483 to top the three-team field.
Vietnam’s Trung Le Thanh, Tien Khoa Tran and Thien Phung Nguyen got 8.416 points for the silver.
Malaysia’s Augustine Rudy Anak Grocer, Jason Loo Jun Wei and Jin Kun Yong placed third with 7.983 points for the bronze.
It was the second gold for Reyes after winning the men’s recognized, while Dustin got gold after a silver medal finish in the mixed pair with partner Rinna Babanto.

Babanto and Mella got 8.233 points, finishing behind Malaysia’s Hidayah Abdul Karim Nurul and Jason Loo Jun Wei, who scored 8.283.
Thailand’s Sengmueang Pattarapong and Phaisankiattikun Phenkaya copped the bronze medal with 8.099 points.
