KUALA LUMPUR — Reyland Capellan won gold in artistic gymnastics on Tuesday in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.
It is the fourth gold medal for the Philippines in the KL Games after Mary Joy Tabal in women's marathon and the triathlon sweep by Nikko Huelgas and Kim Mangrobang.

Capellan registered 13.950 points on his way to winning the gold medal in the floor exercise for the second straight time.
He beat Malaysia's Zul Bahrin Bin Mat Asri, who scored 13.750 points, and Thailand's Tikumporn Surintornta (13.600).
