RODOLFO Reyes Jr. delivered a gold medal for the Philippine poomsae team, ruling the men’s recognized tournament of the 30th Southeast Asian Games on Saturday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
The Filipino was next to last on the list of seven performers, getting the judges’ nod for a 8.349 to clinch the gold medal in the seven-man tournament.
Sengmueang Pattarapong of Thailand was last to perform and got 8.199 points for silver.
Myanmar’s Shine Sun and Malaysia’s Anak Grocer August shared the bronze medal as they garnered 7.849 points apiece.
Indonesian Dwypayana I Kadek placed fifth with 7.799 points, followed by Cambodia’s Tuon Navut (7.649) and Brunei’s Hijium Hyde Nachman (7.465).
