THE Philippines drew with Indonesia, 6-6, at the start of the men’s water polo tournament of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games on Tuesday at the New Clark City aquatics center in Capas, Tarlac.
The Filipino men’s water polo team got a favorable result with a draw against the silver medalist in the last SEA Games.
Thailand, meanwhile, routed Malaysia, 19-5, while its women’s squad also had a similar scoreline against Singapore in the women’s division.
The Philippine women’s team opens campaign on Wednesday against Singapore, while the men’s team resumes play on Thursday against Thailand.
