Philippines gets unlikely gold medal in lawn bowls to hike output to 11 in SEA Games

KUALA LUMPUR - The men's fours lawn bowls squad captured the gold medal for the Philippines on Thursday in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games here.

The team of Curte Robert Guardin, Emmanuel Portacio, Leoncio Carreon Jr., and Ronald Lising beat Malaysia to give the Philippines its 11th gold medal in the Games. Thailand was the bronze medalist.
