The final silver came on Friday night when swimmer James Deiparine placed second in the 100m breaststroke with a time of one minute, 2.11 seconds, losing a close race to Gagarin Nathaniel of Indonesia (1:01.76).

At the Bukit Jalil Stadium, Anthony Beram failed to land his third gold medal as he settled for the bronze in the men's 4x100m run alongside Eric Cray, Archand Bagsit, and Anfernee Lopena.
