Coming off a win over Vietnam, Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons are on a roll, dominating Mae Tasha and Tan Hsi Yan of Malaysia, 21-13, 21-9, in the first match.
After an opening set, Dzi Gervacio and Dij Rodriguez overcame Joo Shu Woon and Foo Sin Xi, 17-21, 21-13, 15-7.
The Pinay beach volleybelles are now 2-1 in the round robin preliminaries but face a tough match on Tuesday against Thailand.
